We arrived and found dirty appartments (rented two). The land lady only handed us the key and left. No help as to what to find in the appartments (e.g. how to work the gas heater - which BTW was turned off) No help in how to get into Rome or find a restaurant. Although, some of this was in a folder which was not given to us, but which we found the day we left when we cleaned up (blank folder - at least put renter information on it!)
[Agency counter comment] It seems very strange because the caretaker does not speak English but she it is an awesome lady, we normally receive positive feedback for her courtesy and kindness towards the guests.

This was an excellent rental in all aspects. The hosts, Gabriele and Lucia are very kind and available, yet discreet. The house is big, clean and the swimming pool appreciated. The grounds are also very nice. Not easy to find at first but well worth the effort.

leider ist der Anfartsweg sehr schlecht beschrieben . Es steht kein Schild mit dem Namen Villa Vlora zu sehen . Nach vielen Umherirren stellten wir fest, daß der Name jetzt Belvedere heist und auch ein Schild mit diesen Namen zu sehen ist.

Unfortunately, the itinerary to the property was very poorly described. There is no sign with the name of Villa Vlora. After much wandering, we found that the name is now called Belvedere and also a sign with that name is shown.
Stunning stunning area! Our accommodation was of excellent quality. Good amenities and modern bathrooms and kitchenette. When we return to Tuscany, our stay will be at Massi!
Traumhaftes, landestypisches Steinhaus in wunderbarer Alleinlage inmitten eines Nationalparks.
Durch die typische Steinhausbauweise hat es auch bei Hitzewellenwetter drinnen angenehme Temperaturen.
Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bietet dazu jede Menge Luxus.
(Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Gas+Strom-Herd, großer Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Waschmaschine, Moskitonetze in den Schlafräumen, SAT-TV, ...)
Küchenausstattung, Warmwasserversorgung, Duschen, Badezimmer, Elektrik = alles makellos. (neu renoviert ohne den natürlichen Scharm des Hauses zu beeinträchtigen)
Mit der (von uns mitgenommenen) verstärkten Musikanlage konnten wir in die frühen Morgenstunden im Haus Musik machen,
ohne jemand zu stören. (keine Nachbarn, nur Natur rundum!)
Umgekehrt bilden die verschiedenartigsten Vögel (Naturschutzgebiet) und die Grillen
die einzige (und angenehme) fremde Geräuschkulisse.
Großes Pool (2 verschiedene Tiefen, sauber + gepflegt), hervorragend zum Schwimmen geeignet (auch nachts --> Poollampe + Gartenbeleuchtung), angenehme Gartendusche.
Der riesige Holzkohlen-Griller im großzügig angelegten, mit vielen bunten Blumen verzierten Garten bescherte uns jeden Tag einen romantischen Grillabend.
(natürlich Insektenschutzmittel nicht vergessen)
Wir waren nur zu Zweit, und hatten die ganze Zeit Traumwetter.
Wenn’s länger regnet, heißt Aufenthalt hauptsächlich im Haus, könnte es bei Belegung ab 6 Personen drinnen etwas eng werden.
Der Besitzer und das Betreuungsteam waren trotz Sprachbarrieren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Achtung: Auf der Zufahrtsstraße (die letzten 5km) ganz vorsichtig fahren (tw. Schritt-Tempo)
--> Zum Einkaufen in den nächsten größeren Supermarkt = fast eine Std. Fahrzeit
Die 2 Wochen die wir auf dieser Anlage verbringen durften, waren mit Abstand der schönste Urlaub den wir jemals hatten.
Absolute Empfehlung für Individualisten, die Natur, ungestörte Privatsphäre, Poolschwimmen, Sonnenbaden (sehr angenehme Gartenliegen) und trotzdem Luxus lieben!
Casaforte far exceeded our expectations! Everything about the property is perfect! The building is beautifully restored, yet retains its historical atmosphere, the owner has loaded the interior with modern amentities - top quality appliances, flat screen TVs & AC in every room, good size showers with 'rainmaker' shower heads, etc.
This villa was well located for the local towns like Chanti, Radda, Greve and also for Firenze and Pisa. The house was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was large, well equipped (other than no toaster) and easy to use. Nice, clean, clear water pool - excellent in the hot weather we experienced. Bathrooms were very good, however, one tended to get a flooded floor when the shower over the bath was used. It's a family owned property with a property manager on site. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and happy to provide assistance if required. We would absolutely recommend this villa! It's a great place to spend a week enjoying what Tuscany has to offer.
Everything about our experience here at Tenuta Tizzauli was incredible. we really enjoyed the kindness of the staff, the swimming pool was amazing and everything about our Ginestra unit was absolutely beautiful. The surrounding area was stunning and visiting Florence and Pisa were highlights of our trip for our children. We all loved everything about Tuscany!! We would highly recommend anyone coming to this area to stay here!!
