Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Ein nettes und herzliches Willkommen von den Besitzern bei unserer Ankunft. Ein eigener Pool, super-schön!, mehr als genug Liegen, ein eigener Pavillon und eine eigene Terrasse! Wir waren 4 Personen und hatten wirklich ausreichend Platz.
Eine perfekte Woche in perfekter Umgebung.

Een mooi huis in een prachtige omgeving met mooie panorama's dat volledig voldoet aan de beschrijving. De eigenaar Rosado en zijn ouders zijn bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzaam. Elke dag kwamen zij langs om het zwembad en de tuin bij te werken waarbij van de gelegenheid gebruik werd gemaakt om te zien of alles nog in orde was. Zij wisten dit te doen zonder "al te aanwezig" te zijn. Er bleek geen barbecue aanwezig te zijn, maar toen wij dit meldden werd er de volgende dag een nieuwe barbecue gebracht.
De tuin is groot en bijzonder fraai. De inrichting van het huis is functioneel, maar voor een grote groep hebben de 2 zitkamers eigenlijk te weinig zitgelegenheid. De keuken is goed uitgerust, maar had wat ons betreft wel iets ruimer kunnen zijn. De slaapkamers zijn ruim en hebben goede bedden, elk met een (kleine) badkamer met douche.
Al met al een zeer prettig huis dat we van harte kunnen aanbevelen.

The owner Rosado and his parents are very friendly and helpful. Every day they came along to maintain the pool and the garden and took the opportunity to ask us if everything was in order. They managed to do this without being "too present". There was no barbecue, but when we reported this they broughtus a new barbecue the next day.
The garden is large and very beautiful. The interior of the house is functional but for a large group, the 2 lounges offer too little seating. The kitchen is well equipped, but could have been a little bit bigger to our taste. The bedrooms are spacious and have good beds, each room has a (small) bathroom with shower.
All in all a very nice house that we can heartily recommend.
We had a memorable holiday here - watching the fireflies in the olive groves was fantastic, and it was just a lovely peaceful place to be. Volterra is easy to get to and great to wander around.
We really enjoyed the apartment and pool and the location was great. The thing we did not realize is that we were in a small addition onto a big house that was rented by a large group of other people. There was not much in the way of privacy and because the large group spent most of their time outside on the patio (right outside of our window) we did not get any sleep at all. We did not have a table outside to sit at as the photos on the website showed and use of the pool was limited as there were alot of children in it at all times.
The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very handy for cooking and it was nice to have a fridge. Anca (sp?) was wonderful, both a great chef and helpful with hints of things to do and places to eat in the area.
We would probably come back to Pornoletto if we had enough people in our party to rent the whole house, but as far as the apartment attached to it ... not the greatest set up.
Our group was very impressed with the Villa. The owner, Roberto, greeted us and showed us around the property. It was quiet and secluded and the property is amazing. We did have a little bit of difficulty finding the Villa originally as the signs have a different name for it. It is a beautiful place and we would definately recommend it and stay again. We had a Chef come and cook for us on the owners recommendation and had the most amazing meal. I highly suggest anyone staying here do the same. The only issue we had was the water heater as we all wanted to shower in the mornings and the hot water ran out quick.
We have stayed at Fattoria Pasterno before and everything was excellent as expected. very well located with easy access and the staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is not the first time we have rented from the owners of Primula. They are such a pleasure! We hope to return. The house was beautiful and comfortable. We loved how close it is to town, yet it is secluded. We miss the rose garden. It was so beautiful.
