(2 adults, 1 child, July 2019) We spent a diversified and restful holiday at the charming and lovingly restaured house in Karashka. The communication with our hosts was fast, helpful and friendly all the time. The surrounding nature and the landscape of central Balkan are overwhelming.
s'il y avait eu la climatisation, nous aurions pu oublier que les matelas étaient de très mauvaise qualité (d'ou obligation de dormir sur le canapé avec le matelas de la chambre dessus). Quant à l'électricité, une revision est vraiment nécessaire pour les futurs locataires (pas de lumière dans la salle à manger et une chevrotante dans la petite chambre don la fenêtre ne s'ouvre pas suite certainement à des travaux de peinture). A part tout cela, nous avons passé des vacances "moyennes" car la situation et le cadre sont vraiment très bien.

We spend a week at Val Di Coreto and loved every minute ☀️ The place, the surroundings, the pool and the house is so incredible wonderful. Nothing is missing. Fabrizio, the host, and his father were also very nice and served us abricots and vegetables from the great garden. The place is very Thank you for the opportunity to rent this house.
The site is beautiful. We did our search for a room with air conditioning as a required element and Montegufoni showed up, but the room I selected did not had air conditionning. This was very disapointing. Be careful which room you select. On top of that our bathroom was not clean and the ceiling was full of mold.
The reality of L'Hacienda lives up to the promise of the photos and more. We had a fantastic time with guests coming and going over a five week period. Everyone of all ages (most not usually pool holiday types) just loved it. There's such a wonderful, informal vibe about the place and it's just a great place to hang out and relax with friends and family. From the start it was clear that the owner Marilyn wanted us to have as much fun as possible. The lovely Carole was also on hand to home cook some fantastic meals for us when we asked - and to help in any other way possible. No less than 3 kitchen areas - great for entertaining - though we spent most of our time by the pool kitchen. The surrounding countryside is simply beautiful and wonderful for taking long walks. The boulangerie and cafe/pizzeria + restaurant is within walking distance bu a car is essential for getting out to the nearest supermarket and for visiting the fun seaside and nearby rocky swimming spots, markets and other great shopping places. You can choose to have a quiet time or enjoy the festivals and music around. This was the perfect spot for us and we would all like to return. 5 stars for sure!
The house and location are stunning. Met the home owner a couple of times as she came to check that everything was ok - very caring and friendly. Gardeners and cleaning staff were also very pleasant and did their best to do their work without being intrusive at all. Pool was amazing, very private and quiet and a great way to relax either first thing in the morning with a coffee or at the end of a long day touring the surrounding regions. Relatively short drive to Tuscany, Lazio, etc. Would happily stay in this gorgeous property again. I would give it 6 stars if possible!
