The villa was clean and very comfortable for all the guests. It was conveniently located in a very picturesque setting. It met all our expectations and would definitely recommend it to future renters.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The apartment Casa Anna 4 has offered everything we had hoped to have for a relaxing holiday: good and tastefully furnished bedrooms and living rooms, a spacious resort with pool in a secluded countryside and an idyllic outdoor space with fantastic views.
We stayed in this Villa in September 2014 as a family of 4 adults and two children. The Villa was clean and tidy on arrival and it was great that each bedroom had its own bathroom, this certainly makes it easier for a group of 6 to stay and not get in each others way.
The owners daughter lives on site and provided a kettle we could use on the gas cooker, otherwise the villa is well appointed with kitchen items and bed linen etc.
My only two comments would be:
- Using more than one electrical item in the kitchen trips the fuse, which is a pain
- The area had a lot of mosquitos
Note - if getting the bus into Florence id suggest driving to the bus stop in the local town, parking there and getting the bus which is really quick. Picking the bus up outside the villa's local hamlet is possible but getting a bus that can take you back to the villa is harder
There where 9 of us staying at this villa, and we mostly enjoyed our time there. There were a few inconvenience, such as the road leading to and from Carmignano was treacherous , also don't expect much in term of services , this is not an hotel.
Daniel who is in charge of the rental process was very nice and helpfull, also don't miss their wine tour and lunch. The location is very good for launching day trips. From there we drove to the train station in Prato, , and visited Florence, Pisa , and Luca . We drove to Siena ! Vinci, and Greve for their wine festival, which was fantastic. A car and a GPS is essential , if you don't mind those crazy Italian drivers. All in all the villa experince was good with some limitations.
There were 10 of us who stayed here at the villa for a week and we could all honestly say it was one of the best experiences ever. Rosado met us and explained everything to us and we were so impressed with his enthusiasm and knowledge. We loved hearing all about his wonderful villa which he restored himself....very proud family tradition. Everything about the villa was excellent....the garden, pool area, facilities in the kitchen and laundry plus the basic neck sitting for cooking were just like home...nothing was lacking ( only the washing machine cycle took forever)!!!! The location of this villa was superb and we visited all the local villages which were so quaint and small...no need to visit the big cities like Siena and Florence when you have local ones which have more atmosphere and ambience. Rosado recommended places to go to and everything he told us was spot on...La Citerna and Alighieri nearby were wonderful and had the best restaurant. We were lucky enough to enjoy a mediaeval festival as well as a polenta festival plus Rosado took us personally to a local monastery . The arrival meal which Rosado's wife cooked was outstanding too. Without a doubt we would visit this villa again and can't recommend it highly enough!!!! Many thanks Rosado....a true Italian gentleman.
Wonderful villa - the pictures do not do it justice. Fantastic location with beautiful views, the villa is very well appointed and very spacious. Very generous hosts. We had a fantastic stay.
