We had a very happy week in this villa which is in a small group of properties about 400~500m away (walkable) from the charming main part of the village which has 4 good restaurants but no shop. The location is ideal for a variety of day trips including Siena and San Gimignano. We visited in early April and so did not use the pool but it appeared to be a good size and is shared with a few other apartments. The terrace and balcony are good for catching the afternoon sun if you are having a lazy day. We cooked in on two nights and all facilities were in good order. The three bathrooms were all spotless and in good order.

Overall, beautiful place with well thought facilities. Our stay here was a memorable one. The landlord and team were very active and quick to respond back if there were any issues. Exactly as pictured. Some minor adjustments could be made as the area the villa is in is quite far from civilisation if you don’t do not own a car and the taxi rides were very expensive. It would be more convenient to provide a car for the villa as it would make it an even better stay. However, overall this was a nice place with great facilities. Will definitely be coming back to Can Barbara xo
The appartment was spaciuos and nice, big bathroom, nice living- and diningroom.We loved the balcony. The location was close to everything. It was difficult to get a taxi to the apprtment, as it is placed on a closed street. We will definetely book it again if we are going to Nice. We were four adult friends travelling together.
A wonderful house, with big rooms and a lot of space. Little difficult to find the way the first time, but it located close to a golf course and only 30 min from Florence

The property was generally as described. However I believe that the WiFi should have been included as general phone reception was not good without is. Also whilst I understand that having the pool heated was an option it was far too cold to be used at this time of the year without heating.
Better instruction in English on the use of the TV would have been appreciated.
Lastly we had an issue with 3 cockroaches found within the villa even though it was very clean and no food had been left out. Hopefully these could be eradicated for future tenants.
Otherwise everything was fine. The villa was clean and well maintained and equipped with pretty much everything you needed to make it a home from home. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family.
