Het huis was prachtig en groot genoeg. Helaas deed de airco het op 2 slaapkamers niet en omdat wij op zaterdag kwamen moesten we wachten tot maandag dat het gerepareerd werd. Zo ook met het missende campingbedje. Jammer dat er geen gebruiksaanwijzing van al het apparatuur bij was. Misschien een tip om dat in het huis te leggen. De plek was prachtig en het stadje erg leuk en gezellig.

The villa itself was as listed in the description. It was clean, furnished well, had plenty of outdoor communal spaces, and a spectacular view. We were very comfortable and happy with it. Francesca, our contact person, was extremely responsive whenever we had any questions or problems. A few suggestions: the road up to the villa is quite rough (although passable in a regular vehicle). Perhaps some of the "dips" could be filled in for smoother passage. Also, upon arriving, we were not able to spot the small sign that signaled where to turn onto the road up to the villa. A more visible sign would be very helpful. The description reads that one can walk to the village by taking a path through olive groves and vineyards. That was not the case, or at least, we were strongly discouraged from doing so. It would be good to eliminate that possibility from the description. These issues in no way outweigh all the positives! I definitely recommend Agriturismo Arcobaleno!
An excellent, very well equipped villa with beautiful views which comfortably housed our family of sixteen (ten adults and six children). The owners who live next door were very helpful and fortunately speak very good English. The pool isn't heated but with temperatures in the mid thirties at the end of May it was well used! There are extensive lovely gardens but this did result in the only minor problem, a lot of midges / mosquitoes but just make sure you bring plenty of insect repellant. Overall a perfect villa for our extended family.
Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und erfüllte alle Versprechen. Die Privatsphäre wurde in jeder Hinsicht gewahrt. Die Einrichtungen waren für heiße Tage (Pool) bis hin zu frischen Abenden (großer Rau) für alles vorhanden. Die geschmackvolle Einrichtung wurde jeder Vorstellung gerecht. Lia, als Ansprechpartnerin, stand jederzeit zur Verfügung.
Als Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundungen der Toskana lag es ideal.
Besonders zu empfehlen waren Lari (mit der Nudelfabrik Martelli und der Osteria LA BOTTEGA DI CANFREO mit der benachbarten Käserei Antica Grotta di Stagionatura - Besichtigung über die Osteria möglich) und San Gimignano mit der Gelateria Dondoli (Ausgezeichnete Qualität und Warten in der Schlange wert). Als außerwöhnliches Gourmeterlebnis kann ich das für einen MICHELIN-Stern nominierte Restaurant Lo Scopiccio Ristorante (nur 1,2km entfernt) empfehlen.
Wer von Florenz anreist sollte einen Zwischenstopp (zum Käse- Wein- und Öltasting) bei der Fattoria Corzano and Paterno,in San Casciano in Val di Pesa machen (es lohnt sich).
Viel Spaß in der Toskana.
Sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einem umzäunten Feriendorf nicht weit vom Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Highlight war der Gemeinschaftspool und eine Outdoorgrillstelle. Die Komunikation mit dem zuständigen Bewirtschafftungsoffice gestaltete sich etwas schwierig. Sonst aber eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für 4 Personen.
