De plek waar het huis staat is boven op de berg met een schitterend uitzicht en zeer rustig gelegen. Het app is zeer compleet en aan het zwembad. Hier is volop plaats om te zonnen en om in de schaduw te zitten. De bedden en de slaapbank liggen goed. Op verzoek is er een los bed geplaatst zodat de kinderen (13 EN 15 jr)ieder een eigen slaapplaats hadden. Internet is aanwezig maar niet in het huisje. Dit is alleen aanwezig in app Ginestra. Het bereik is rondom het hoofdgebouw wat ca 15m verder staat. De eigenaars zijn zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. Ze spreken Duits en Engels. De zelfgemaakte jam en honing smaken uitstekend. Voor verse broodjes is er een klein supermarktje op ca 10 minuten afstand, gelegen in een hoger gelegen dorpje.

Here you have plenty of space to sunbathe and get in the shade. The beds and the sofa bed are good. On request, a separate bed was placed so the children (13 and 15 years) each had their own bed. Internet is available but not in the house. It's available only in the unit Ginestra. The connection range is around the main building which is about 15m further. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. They speak German and English. The homemade marmalade and honey taste perfectly. For fresh bread there is a small supermarket at approx. 10 minutes, in a village situated just a little higher.
We waren met 2 gezinnen samen in Montescalari 6. Het was een prima ruim appartement, goed schoon. Jammer dat je steeds naar beneden moest met je ontbijtspullen ed. Buiten had je een stuk tuin beschikbaar waar je heerlijk kon zitten. BBQ beschikbaar. Evenals een aantal mountainbikes (die je s avonds wel weer naar boven moest fiesten, pff).
Het zwembad was wat verouderd (tegeltjes lieten los) en best een pittige klim. Wel lekkere ligbedjes en een fantastisch uitzicht. Grote parasols Ook leuk dat er een tafeltennistafel en voetbalspel was. Heerlijk genoten samen me de andere 43 gasten van een traditionele maaltijd. Andrea is een fanastische gastheer. Wijn en olijfolie van het landgoed mee terug genomen. Gemoedelijke rustgevende sfeer. Prima wasmachine in het huisje beschikaar. Bij de receptie WIFI gratis beschikbaar. Wel wat afgelegen (zo'n 3 km van de Chiantiroute). Voor vers brood was je wel 8 km onder weg (en weer terug). Vanaf Filigne binnen een half uur in Florence met de sneltrein vanuit Rome (aanrader). We hebben genoten van de prachtige omgeving. Fam. ter Borg en Steur uit Paterswolde (4 tieners).

Too bad you had to go down each time with your breakfast items etc. Outside there was a lovely piece of garden available where you could sit. BBQ available. Like a number of mountain bikes (which you had to drive back up hill again in the evening though, pffff).
The pool was a little outdated (some loose tiles) and quite a steep climb. But nice sunbeds and fantastic views. Large umbrellas. Also nice that there was a table tennis and football. We enjoyed the delicious traditional meal together with the other 43 guests. Andrea is a fanastische host. We took some wine and olive oil from the estate back home. Warm soothing atmosphere. Excellent washing machine in the house available. WIFI at the reception free of charge. A little remote (about 3 km from the Chianti Road). To get fresh bread you will drive 8 km (and back). From Figline within half houryou can reach Florence by express train (recommended). We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. Fam. Ter Borg and Steur from Paterswolde (4 teenagers).

Alles war perfekt, Haus,Ausstattung,Lage und der Vermieter haben unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Einzig die Komplettreinigung nach 7 Tagen hätte nicht sein müssen, das hat gestört.

My wife and I and our two teenagers boys stayed at the apartment for 2 weeks. The apartment has a big living room, kitchen and dining area with all the facilities, 2 double-bed bedrooms and a very nice veranda approaching the mountains. The apartment was very clean and convenient. The beds were convenient which is very important for such a long stay, and the laundry room has good washer and dryer. The apartment is located in the periphery of the town, but Leukerbad is very small town and everything is in a walking distance if you are in a reasonable shape (may be a problem for elderly or disabled people). Leukrbad is a very nice town, with many restaurants, and a great place to stay for exploring the Valais area. A special thanks to Dorothy, the owner, who was very flexible on the arrival/departure time, gave some good hints (great fireworks from the veranda on August 1st!) and helped pn evry of our requests.
Casa Marta est une agréable maison, bien équipée, située dans un tout petit village à la montagne (Pascoso). Le village ne comporte pas de boulangerie ou de boucherie mais une simple petite épicerie. Il y a également 2 restaurants dont un dont nous avons particulièrement apprécié la cuisine (La sosta) situé à l'entrée du village à côté de l'église. Prévoir la réservation. Je recommande cette maison à celles et ceux qui recherche le calme et qui aime la montagne et les promenades au coeur de la nature (Il existe même un chemin de rando qui passe à côté de la maison). A côté de cela la région offre de nombreuses possibilités pour découvrir le patrimoine culturelle de l'Italie avec non loin de là des villes prestigieuses tel que Lucca, Pise, Florence ou Sienne. Je vous conseil un petit tour à vélo à Lucca ou vous pourrez faire le tour complet de la ville et la découvrir du haut des remparts. Pour les amoureux de la plage ils auront également de quoi trouver leur bonheur du côté de Viareggio (compter environ 1h de route). Côté pratique il n'est pas possible de se garer ou de circuler facilement en voiture dans le village. Il vous faudra donc laisser la voiture à environ 300m, avec toutefois la possibilité de l'approcher pour le chargement/déchargement. Le propriétaire est vraiment quelqu'un de sympathique, très ouvert, toujours plein de bons conseils et prêt à rendre service et à apporter son aide pour faciliter le séjour. Il parle couramment l'anglais et le français en plus de l'italien. Bon séjour à toutes et à tous.

I suggest a small bicycle tour in Lucca where you can go round and explore the city from the ramparts. For beach lovers they will also find their happiness in Viareggio (around 1 hour drive). It is not possible to park or drive easily in the village of Pascoso. You will have to leave the car at about 300m, but with the possibility to approach for loading / unloading. The owner is really friendly, very open, always full of good advices and willing to help and provide assistance to facilitate our stay. He is fluent in English and French in addition to the Italian. De plek is prachtig! De keuken niet zo goed geoutileerd en het was jammer dat het internet het niet deed en de fietsen allemaal lek waren. Wel weer leuk was dat we tomaatjes mochten plukken uit de tuin en de wijn is erg lekker.

We hadden een goed verblijf in "il Palazetto". De verhuurders zijn erg aardig. Ze zijn er als je ze nodig zou hebben en hebben ons laten proeven van producten uit eigen tuin. De inrichting van het huisje is eenvoudig maar goed. Met 5-6 personen is het goed toeven. (7 is ook wel mogelijk) De woonkamer/ keuken is niet zo groot, maar wij hebben vooral buiten geleefd onder en om de tentluifel. Het uitzicht vanuit de tuin is geweldig. Genieten van het zicht op de Appenijnen en de ondergaande zon achter het Fort aan de overkant. Carfagnana heeft een centrale functie in het dal en heeft daardoor goede voorzieningen. Vanaf het huisje is het 10-15 min. lopen naar winkels etc. In de omgeving zijn plaatsen als Lucca, Pisa en Pistoia goed te bereiken en de moeite waard. De Appenijnen en het Apuaanse gebergte biedt veel wandelmogelijkheden. POI's zijn: Grotto del Vento, Parco del Levigliese (klimmen, Canyoning, kanoën), Lago di Vagli (met verdronken dorp), Passo del Vestito (richting kustplaatsen en langs marmergroeven) etc. etc.

The interior of the cottage is simple but good. With 5-6 people is a nice place. (7, it also possible). The living room / kitchen is not big, but we have mostly lived outside under the tent. The view from the garden is great. Enjoying the view of the Apennines and the sun setting behind the Fortress across the street. Carfagnana has a central function in the valley and therefore has good facilities. The Apennines and the Apuan mountains offer many hiking possibilities. Wir waren zu dritt für 2 Wochen in dieser Unterkunft, speziell im Haus "Michele" (vermutlich nach dem ältesten Sohn der Gastgeberfamilie benannt). Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch wenn die Anfahrt recht anspruchsvoll ist. Ich empfehle einen Wagen mit Automatikgetriebe, es sei denn man ist gut im Anfahren auf Bergen.
Die Familie Bernardini ist eine sehr nette Familie. Sie haben vier reizende Kinder. Diese spielten auch mit unserer Tochter bzw. mit uns. Das gemeinsame Spielen aller Kinder aus allen angereisten Nationen war sehr schön. Der Pool ist groß und ausreichend für alle. Man kann dort trotz vorhandener Kinder (wem so etwas stören sollte) sehr ruhige Tage verbringen.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] The three of us stayed for 2 weeks at this property, in the unit called Michele (presumably named after the oldest son of the host family). We have thoroughly enjoyed it, even if the road to get there is quite challenging. I recommend a car with automatic transmission, unless you are good at pulling away on hills.
The Bernardini family is a very nice family. They have four lovely children. They played with our daughter. The children off all nations that played together was very nice. The pool is large enough for everybody. You can spend some calm days there despite the presence of children (for those who should be disturbed by such a thing). The accommodation is very nice. Many thanks again to Roberta Bernardini for the dinner we had together with all guests.

Prima uitvalbasis om de omgeving te bekijken. Voor zeven personen (en baby) wel wat aan de krappe kant maar de locatie en de omgeving maakt veel goed!
Het apartement bevind zich op de bovenste woonlaag en omdat er geen airco is kan het vrij warm worden.
