We had a great time at Casa Simona. The villa is beautiful and well kept, the scenery is wonderful. We are a family of 5 and it was spacious and comfortable for us. The owners were very helpful to us and freindly. The kitchen is well equiped for cooking meals

This property was perfect for us. We wanted a charming place that was central in Tuscany and had at least 2 bedrooms and 2 baths with a comfortable lounge area. This restored house exceeded our expectations. The photos looked like a perfect fit after analyzing dozens on the website. When we arrived, our first reaction when we opened the door was a collective "Oh how nice!". The property was spacious and extremely comfortable. It felt like coming home after a long day of travel and sightseeing. The owner was friendly & gracious and had outfitted the property anticipating most of our needs. She even had a bottle of wine and homemade jam waiting for us! She and her husband renovated the property over 3 years. Their attention to detail and high standards was evident in all the details. It's not a luxury villa, but a comfortable, "cute", historic old chapel that is homey.
Easy Reserve was responsive and friendly. It was my first time using this type of service. I didn't know if they were a good one out of the many you find online and what to expect. I would use them again for any future trip of this kind.
As a footnote, Easy Reserve helped us arrange a cooking lesson during our stay. The owner offered, being a great home cook. That afternoon and evening were a highlight of our trip. She arranged everything we would need, taught us a dozen techniques resulting in a great meal which we shared with several of her friends and relatives! It couldn't have been a better experience.

Difficult to find as there were no names on the gate, good size, clean, well equipped. Could do with insect screens repaired and fitted to all windows, mosquitoes a problem. Poll nice, grounds need a little maintenance.

We can't stress how wonderful a place the Rosa Dei Venti is. Not to mention the amazing family that works there. Barbara and Stefano bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. Their property is so much better than any picture could ever show.

The two bedroom cottage known as Montegufoni #32 worked very well for 2 mature adults and 2 grown granddaughters. There was plenty of space for privacy, as well as together time. We especially enjoyed the outside table and chairs, overlooking the beautiful Tuscan countryside.

Villa Margherita was great - especially the pool. Nice and quiet and out of the way. I would suggest that the owners put a map to the nearest train station, Sant'ellero and a timetable for the trains.

We had a wonderful stay at San Donnino. One of the best parts about it was the owner. He speaks excellent English and is very happy to provide information about life in Tuscany. Often when travelling you can feel that you don't understand what makes a place "tick" but being able to talk to the owner over a glass of wine gave us a great insight into this area of Italy.
The property itself was very clean and spacious and the grounds and pool lovely and well cared for. The location is close to Siena and does require you to hop in the car anytime you want to go out.
The property's house wine was great and very inexpensive.
The only negative was that the apartment was supposed to have wifi but in reality, the only way you could get wifi was to either sit in the toilet which was the closest place to the router or to sit in the little alcove outside of where the main computer is situated. Casa Tonio is set amongst old olive groves overlooking the nearby village church, and located some 25 minutes by car from the town of Lucca. The local village cafe is a 10 minute walk. The casa comfortably sleeps six people, but the owners are currently in the midst of an extension which looks like it will double the capacity. Aesthetically, Casa Tonio is straight out of a Tuscan travel book. If we had a complaint, and it was only minor, it was the lack of bed pillows (one for each person only).

The pictures and description do not do this villa Justice. We had the most wonderful stay and had everything we could possibly need at our disposal. Loli, the villa manager went above and beyond to make this an incredible vacation.
