Beautiful villa with enough space for the 7 of us. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows if needed. The bathrooms were fine - all were working well. Lots of water pressure and hot. The property was maintained beautifully and the housekeeper came twice during the week with were there. The area was absolutely beautiful. However, if you have a large van the roads seem a little small. The road is winding up the hill but once you arrive you just don't want to leave. Dining al fresco was so relaxing but there was the occasional mosquito. The pool was very clean and the position allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains. Small village, narrow roads but convenient to autostrada and easy access to sightseeing in Lucca, Florence, Cinque Terra, Portofino, etc. Walter was very nice and made us feel welcomed. He stopped by to check to see if we needed anything and to clean the pool. My husband and I relaxed the entire week by the pool. However our son and his family went sightseeing everyday. There was a great restaurant that is a must to go to. Seating is outside and when it gets dark they show old movies on the outside walls. The restaurant overlooks the city and the view is amazing.
Really beautiful villa in a very scenic property. We loved the views and the villa itself. The gravel road to the villa was a bit hard to navigate, but nothing that was too difficult. Water pressure in some of the bathrooms(esp the one with the bathtubs) could be better, it was hard to bathe in those bathrooms.
The pool was really a nice addition and was enjoyed very much by our children! We had such a lovely time and hope to return!

We were very pleased with this villa and thé owner could not havé been more helpful. The situation is ideal with a beautiful garden and pool. We enjoyed having air conditioning in the bedrooms particularly as we had some very hot weather during our stay. We can certainly recommend this villa to our friends which is ideal for families.
We were very pleased with our stay. The house was excellent for our two families and Michele and Isabella were so welcoming. We had a hard time understanding the process (maid service, cleaning fee, security deposit) at times, but otherwise we had a fantastic week. [Easy Reserve comment: For the benefit of people reading this comment - The security deposit and extra services paid locally works like this: When you check-in you pay the keyholder the amount required for the security deposit. When you checkout any charges for local services are deducted and the balance refunded. In some cases there may be additional money due if the services used were more than the deposit initially paid at check-in.]
10/10 - just the farmly, homely relaxing break we needed on our trip. authentic surroundings and wonderful generous hosts made our experience well worth a return one day.
This property exceeded our expectations and was perfect for 2 families (4 each). The grounds are exceptionally well planted and maintained and the pool area was very welcoming. The owners lived next door and were very unobtusive but available to help with any minor concerns or questions. We would return to this villa and hope to in the future.
Wonderful, very spacious estate. Quiet but nor far away from interesting sight seeing spots. Perfect for 2 families or more.
