Excellent 5 /5A group of four retired professional women, we spent one glorious week at the Villa Carolina while touring the Tuscany area. The high spot of the trip was the villa and the proprietors, Gabrielle and Lucia. We arrived exhausted on a Saturday and had arranged for Lucia to prepare dinner for us. It was fabulous. Though she speaks limited English, we had no trouble communicating and she was eager for us to be comfortable and to provide a good experience for us. It was wonderful returning to the Villa each evening after a long day of visiting sites in Tuscany. To sit out under the gazebo and enjoy our wine, and the beautiful views. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. All in all, a wonderful place to stay!
