Log cabin located a short drive away from all the services of Pyhätunturi Ski Resort and national park. The nearest ski tracks about 1 km from the cabin.
44 km north from Kemijärvi, round log cabin built in 2008. Downstairs there is a kitchen/living room, bedroom with double bed (160*200cm), toilet, bathroom and sauna. Upstairs there is a loft with two separate beds (80*200cm), two mattresses and a small balcony.

The cabin comfortably accommodates 2–4 guests. The bedroom features a 160 cm wide double bed, and the sleeping alcove includes a single bed (80 cm). The combined living room/kitchen is a cozy spot to relax by the fireplace, and the sofa can be used as an extra bed (80 cm wide). The cabin also includes a sauna and a bathroom. Pets are welcome for a small additional fee.

This spacious and fully renovated cabin offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday or an active week surrounded by nature. Conveniently located 73 km southeast of Kemijärvi and 96 km northwest of Kuusamo, the cabin sits on the shores of Lake Mourujärvi in Posio — far enough from the daily rush, yet within easy reach. The distance to the Suomu Ski Resort is 34.5 km.
Originally built in 1947 and completely renovated in 2025, the cabin now offers approx. 150 m² of modern yet cozy living space across two floors. On the ground floor, a spacious living room welcomes you with a traditional baking oven — perfect for bringing warmth and ambiance to chilly winter evenings or rainy summer days. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchen that makes holiday cooking easy. On the ground floor you’ll also find two bedrooms, each with two 80 cm wide beds. The entrance opens to a spacious hallway leading to a practical utility room. The downstairs bathroom includes a WC and a shower.
On the upper floor, there’s more accommodation in two bedrooms. The smaller room has two 80 cm wide beds. The larger room comfortably sleeps a bigger group with a 160 cm wide double bed, an 80 cm bed, and a sofa bed that opens to a 140 cm wide sleeping space. The upper floor also features its own bathroom and a sauna — perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
From the living room, step directly onto a large terrace facing the lake — ideal for morning coffee, grilling, or admiring the evening sun. A rowing boat is available for guest use, and the shared beach offers a refreshing swim in Lake Mourujärvi. The beach is steep, partly sandy and partly rocky.
Pets are warmly welcome for a small additional fee — so feel free to bring your furry family members along for the holiday!
