Welcome to a charming holiday home set in the heart of Småland. This
lovely cottage is surrounded by scenic nature and features everything
you need for a relaxing holiday. It is located in the village of
Bjärhult, about 15 kilometres from Hultsfred.
A sweet little veranda welcomes you to the house. Inside you will find a
spacious kitchen which has been partly renovated and features a new
fridge and freezer. Next to the kitchen you will find a little bedroom
with a single bed. The spacious living room features a sofa suite, a TV,
and a DVD-player. A glass door takes you from the living room to the
garden. The bottom floor bathroom features a WC and a washbasin.
On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms, one with a double bed,
the other with two single beds and a cot. The second floor features a
charming little balcony with a beautiful view of the sunset. The house
is surrounded by a lawn, the perfect place for the children to play and
for adults to relax. In the garden you will find blackcurrants,
gooseberries, and rhubarb which you are free to help yourself to.
Its only 900 metres to lake Långsjön where you will find the rowing
boat that is includes in the rent.Why not try fishing for pike or bass?
Fishing is free of charge.Theres also a bathing dock down by the water.
If you prefer a larger beach, theres nice sandy beach with shallow,
child-friendly water about eight kilometres away.
Bjärkhult is a charming little village with pretty little cottages and
farms, one of them has ponies that you can rent. There are beautiful
walking paths all around , for instance the delightful
Lönnebergaleden.
There are plenty of interesting attractions nearby. The charming town of
Vimmerby is only twentyfive kilometres away. The children will really
enjoy Astrid Lindgrens World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from
Astrid Lindgrens beloved childrens books, are also close. Or why not
take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the
olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal is
another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda
glass is made. Västervik is also well worth a visit, offering shopping,
beaches and many events. These are just a few examples of all the
exciting places you can visit in Småland.
