This older but charming holiday cottage is situated by a farm, next to the small town Fuglstad. From the house and the garden you have magnificent views of the fjord Sjona, 100 meters from the house. The fjord has good fishing conditions and included in the rent is a 15 ft aluminum boat with control panel, a 15 hp four-stroke engine with electrical start and 4 life jackets. You can place fishing equipment in the boat house. A child-friendly area surrounds the house and on the farm you can visit rabbits and cats. It is a good starting location for day excursions with car to per instance Stokkvågan, where you can take ferries to the islands Lovund and Træna and visit their small fishing villages. Lovund has a big population of puffins, while Træna is known for its mountain Trænstaven. Walks in the wilderness of Sjona, south of Saltfjellet National Park, are recommend. Here you will find lots of fishing lakes, glaciers and the famous cave Grønnligrotta. 3 bikes for rent, NOK 50 per bike per day. Petrol can be bought in Fuglstad.
