Then you get drinking water at the village well, 20 meters away, to cook a traditional coffee on the stove. After breakfast, enjoy a sporting day in the Grisons mountains or relax to read a book. In the evening you cook a rustic dinner and enjoy it by candlelight. What could be better than to go to the original and to recover from the stress of everyday life. The lovingly renovated, 200 year old, Maiensäss is located between Lenzerheide and Lenz, next to the golf course and the biathlon arena, with a clear view of the Grisons mountains. This Maiensäss offers space for couples (max 4 adults) as well as for families (max 2 adults with 3 children) and is suitable for longer stays.
The Maiensäss entrusted to us is equipped with solar cells. The electricity is limited, but guests can always keep an eye on what the current meter reading is by means of an app. Heating is by the wood stove in the living room. There is always enough firewood for your cuddly-romantic stay. In particularly cold temperatures, a gas stove is available. Enjoy the fresh drinking water from the nearby well - as good as in the mountains it rarely tastes! On the ground floor is the main entrance with kitchen, with gas oven and stove. The modern bathroom with shower and toilet as well as the wood stove can also be found here. About 40 liters of hot and cold water are available per person and day - the quantity can be adjusted on request. Upstairs are the two comfortably furnished, separate bedrooms. You should know that: You can reach the Maiensäss in summer comfortably on foot from the parking lot (about 7 minutes). In the summer months, access to the house is permitted. In winter it is only accessible on foot (about 22 minutes from the parking lot). Please park your car at the public 24-hour car park in Lantsch / Lenz (Davos Ual, Sumvoi or La Fola). The parking fee is CHF 5 per day.
The one-time cleaning costs of CHF 200 include: final cleaning, kitchen linen, wood and gas. The Maiensäss should be left clean.
