As you drive along the private road, turning left into the grounds of the gated Masseria, you will understand why these wonderful buildings, are being brought back to life in Puglia.

To the left, there still remains the original storage, which would have been used for the storage of farming equipment. The restoration is yet to continue with this old part and is currently private to guests.

Masseria Luci Piccolo remains true to its original form, where you will find 15th Century stonework, and wooden lintels, which is part of its charm, and why it is of national interest and registered as a historical building.

EXTERNALLY

The Masseria sits on grounds of 10 hectares and is near to an area, where you can walk out into open fields, and also meander through the Augrumeto and olive trees and which is only a short walk away.

There is approximately 100m driveway to the Masseria, so plenty of places for parking with spaces for at least 4 cars or more.

ENTRANCE

As you enter the glass-fronted doors, you are welcomed by the fresh and cool feeling of the entrance, where you will find an eclectic mix of old and modern, furniture and characteristics, perfectly matched, to give you both a feeling of traveling back in time, but with the balance of the newly renovated bedrooms, all with super large en-suite bathrooms, with modern fixtures and fittings.

The Masseria for rent is impressive in; its size and ideal for the family or friends who would like some privacy.

As you turn left you will find the large lounge area, with open fireplace, and comfy seating for 6. There are large TV and wifi.

Down from the lounge area is a smaller dining room, again with antique furniture, and double doors to the front of the property, and to the rear of the property where you will find the pool area, seating and BBQ.

From this dining room, you enter a kitchen that is compact but has everything you need to enjoy your stay at Masseria Luci Piccolo. Gas hob, electric oven, microwave, and plenty of pots and pans, so you can cook fantastic dishes, with the locally produced products of Salento.

From the kitchen, there is another room, with a round glass table and 4 modern wicker chairs, and a vaulted ceiling, which is a feature running throughout most rooms of the Masseria, a large fridge and adequate freezer for guests use.

The Villa for rent, Masseria Luci Piccolo, is double fronted, which means you have access to the outside from the lounge, dining/snug, and all the bedrooms.

If you are wanting space, then this Masseria will not fail to impress, as it has 5 large, bright and airy bedrooms. All with A/C, in fact, there is A/C in the small snug too.

All the En-suite’s are new and are a modern feature, but tastefully done, all with large walk-in chrome shower, chrome handheld, and large glass shower panel, Toilet, and Bidet. Also, the owners have cleverly incorporated some of the old stonework, which really gives character to these wonderful bathrooms.

All have sinks that rest on modern stone slabs, the mirrors also have over mirror lighting.
