This exotic holiday home is located in Eksingedalen, a green, wild, and beautiful valley approx. 100 km from Bergen. Electricity, firewood and use of bath barrel included in the rent! The unit is built on to the owner´s house, but you will not be disturbed. The entrance is located between the houses and you have your own yard. This is a unique house. One of the bedrooms has two bunk beds where one of the lower beds is double. The double bedroom has a panoramic view of the mountains - you almost feel like you are outside when lying in bed. The first floor gives you that same feeling, because of the large windows and balcony. Listen to water falls, rivers running through the valley and explore this magnificent area that is yet to be discovered by tourists. You can go mountain hiking, bike along the roads and paddle in rivers and lakes in peace and quiet. There are snowmobile trails from the cottage to the mountains 4 km away. Many hiking options directly from the house. Go for a lovely moonlight hike by foot or skis. The terrain is perfect for different activities, like tobogganing, building snow caves, ski jumps, etc. You can catch trout in the river of Ekso - trout up to 2 kg have been caught here. There are also several lakes in the mountains. Remember to buy a fishing license. A rowing boat is included in the rent but shared with 3 other units. It is located 15 km away by a lake. Drive across the mountain of Nesheimfjellet and experience high snowbanks in the middle of summer. The landscape photos are of: waterfalls, bicycling to the Nesheim Mountain. Fishing for trout. Potholes. Grazing cows. Mountain hikes. The mountain of Kvitanosi is approx. 1400 metres above sea level. Mountain farm. A boat can be borrowed. Great skiing conditions in winter. There is no snow from the end of May, except from further up the mountains. This is a great starting point for excursions to Bergen, Hardanger and Voss. A wood-burning bath barrel with a roof, is shared with 68942 and 68943. You need to schedule a time to use it.
